Eye movement desensitization and processing (EMDR) - A review in Indian context using clinical case
Description
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of psychotherapy which aims at resolving disturbing life experiences. There is currently limited experience of the use of EMDR in India. We describe a clinical case from India which benefitted from EMDR. The number of trained mental health professionals practicing EMDR are increasing. Thus, EMDR in India will soon emerge as a promising approach with varied clinical applications.
