The ABC's of EMDR for PTSD

Description

The article deals with the application of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Among the main symptoms of PTSD include emotional numbness, loss of interest in activities they used to enjor, and irritability. A brief historical information about PTSD is presented. EMDR naturally accelerates the healing and learning process. EMDR is also successfully being used to treat other anxiety disorders.
