A case presentation of complex trauma with First Nations woman using the phase oriented approach

Description

This 1.5-hour workshop will demonstrate the application for the phase oriented approach for the treatment of complex trauma using structural dissociation theory and EMDR through an in-depth illustration of a single case study of a First Nations woman. Case transcripts will demonstrate the use of the dissociative table, reducing the phobia to traumatic material, time orientation, and safely implementing EMDR trauma reprocessing. Treatment gains will be discussed.
