EMDR part two: Clinical opinions regarding the safety of using EMDR to process traumatic material during a subsequent pregnancy to treat PTSD (childbirth onset)

Description

There is a lack of specific empirical research to support the safety or lack of safety about incorporating EMDR into a trauma treatment plan for a pregnant woman. However, there are many experienced trauma clinicians who work weekly in their practices with pregnant women. I gathered clinical information about this issue from several experienced and distinguished trauma clinicians who work with women, pregnancy and trauma and use EMDR.
