9-1-1 telecommunications/dispatchers:  The first-first responders

Description

9-1-1 Telecommunicators, more commonly known as 9-1-1-Dispatchers, are generally the first on the scene of an emergency. When someone calls 9-1-1 these dispatchers are the first to hear the concerned citizen, first to assess what has happened, first to figure out what is needed (Fire/EMS/Police) and first to activate the rescue efforts, all in a matter of seconds, while operating multiple computers screens, phones and mapping locations of the scene and the responders deployed to help.
