Caterpillar and chrysalis: A metaphorical approach to EMDR with children

Description

In this presentation, participants will learn how the metaphor of metamorphosis can be applied to the AIP Model and to the 8 Phases of Standard Protocol. Participants will learn practices to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship with diversity awareness, with parent and child. EMDR Therapists will expand their perspective and enhance their skills in EMDR Therapy with children. This approach is centered on the language of the child, which includes the realm of metaphor, creative expression and imagination, which can be incorporated as part of EMDR Therapy.
